Fiesta y Hechale

02/27/11
Maya made brownies for Daniel's birthday and then I made Kristi hold them so I could take a picture.  We sang to him real pretty-like. Today we got to listen to Sister Beck for three hours and I even got to hug her.  I love Sundays.

02/26/11
FIESTA!  This was so much fun.  There was a dance presented from each country in latin america.  It was such a joyous event and we screamed and cheered like crazy.  It made me think of my Brasilian and Colombian sisters. :)

02/25/11
We finally found a lovely place to live and a ginormous weight was lifted off of my shoulders.  We are looking forward to you, Centennial. :)

02/24/11
This was one of those rotten days. You know, the ones where you just feel rotten.  So I thought it rather fitting that I only remembered to take a picture once I was already in bed and had to take it of the window.  Luckily the rest of week was spectacular to make up for it.

02/23/11
Daniel got his mission call to the Brazil Salvador mission!!

02/22/11
This is my hall, Wells, where I live and stuff.

(02/21/11)
This is Matzen and Kurtis who we like a lot because they are wonderful people.

Two Week's Notice

02/20/11
Maya plays a lullaby before we get some shut-eye.

02/19/11
Me and my men at the Relief Society activity.  Don't mind Bella in the background.

02/18/11
We headed to play "pass the balloon" with the old folks after playing school and coloring with the children at the Boy's and Girl's Club.

(02/17/11)
TAP CLASS! Amanda and Seve and Kristi were about to ace their very first test.

02/16/11
This is the view in the early morning and it is pleasant to my eyeballs.

02/15/11
Can Maya fit in the hula hoop?

02/14/11
Happy Valentine's Day! Maya and I were the lucky recipients of some secret admirer notes. Oohlala.

Cheese Curds

02/13/11
Tunnel singing!  Sometimes I forget how much I miss choir until I sing in a big, beautiful group, like with tunnel singing.  Music soothes the soul, there is no doubt about that.

02/12/11
We had a girlie night in Amanda's bed and we watched 27 Dresses and Stardust and ate carrots and animal crackers.

02/11/11
Kristi is a beauty and I love her.

02/10/11
Maya turned nineteen!  And believe it or not these boys made this magnificent sign all by themselves.  Impressive, no?  They've got skills.

(02/09/11)
Pupusas con Mika y sus amigos.  Que rico.  Don't try the horchata though.

02/08/11
We had never eaten cheese curds before and were anxiously awaiting for the restocking of the Creamery but we were fairly disappointed, which isn't evident by our expressions.

02/07/11
This was a fabulous moment in my life.  Madi spied this guy in the library and realized they were wearing the same shirt (practically).  On our way out I asked if I could take his picture with her and he readily agreed.  We think they may be long-lost siblings.

Neverland

02/06/11
If I don't get into the nursing program at least I'll have a backup.  Expert colorer.

02/05/11
Date night! It was fun.  We did "kid things" like paint and color and eat grilled cheese sandwiches.  You can see a piece of my head if you look closely.

02/04/11
This is Alicia, the adorable woman from Argentina that we like to visit.  She is so sweet and full of words of wisdom and we love her lots.

02/03/11
So I realize this picture is strange but it was late at night and I hadn't taken a picture yet and apparently our creative juices don't flow very well late at night.

02/02/11
Life at the Canon, where I occasionally eat before work because it is convenient and because I get to eat with Madilyn.

(02/01/11)
We made smores on the stove and the chocolate was so melty and I dripped it all over my jeans.

01/31/11
Welcome to the best American Heritage class where our professor does fun things.  This particular scenario was to explain the concept of reaching economic equilibrium.  Yes, he did actually pay them.
